- Publishing Assistance: Helping authors publish their works through platforms like Amazon KDP, Audible and more.
- Audiobook Production: Professional audiobook production services, including recording by native English-speaking voice actors to bring your story to life. Full-service process from casting to editing and publishing on platforms like Audible.
- Consulting and Coaching: Offering guidance and advice for authors on the entire process, from manuscript creation to global publication.
- Global Marketing: Supporting authors in promoting their published works to a global audience through our website, social media platforms, and external platforms such as Goodreads, ensuring their work gains the visibility it deserves.
Fees and Delivery Times
Once the contract is signed, the client will receive a personalized quote and an estimated timeline for their project. To secure the project, a 10% nonrefundable booking deposit is required at this stage. Booking should be scheduled 2 to 3 months in advance.
The first of two equal payments (45% each) is due on the start date of the project, with the second payment due one week after the publication of the book or audiobook. For more details on specific fees and timelines, please contact us directly using the Quote Contact form.

Delivery Method
All digital materials, such as e-books and audiobook files, will be published on platforms like Amazon and others as specified in the contract. For hardcover copies, we encourage clients to include them as part of their publishing plan, as they serve as lasting keepsakes of your global publishing milestone.
We will deliver the specified number of hardcover copies to your designated address via a reliable courier service, such as Yamato Transport. Further details about delivery will be outlined in the contract.

Adaptation Process, Inquiries, Revisions, and Coaching
Following the initial round of translation, Kawakami will provide comprehensive feedback to ensure the manuscript resonates with a global audience. This may include enhancing descriptions of Japanese locations, scenery, or cultural elements to make them more vivid and relatable internationally. Authors may be encouraged to revise or expand specific sections in Japanese, with these updates seamlessly integrated into the translated manuscript.
After the second round of translation, a native English-speaking editor with limited knowledge of Japanese culture will review the manuscript. This step helps identify elements that might be unclear or confusing to a broader, global audience. Based on this feedback, additional revisions will be undertaken to refine the manuscript and enhance its universal appeal. During this phase, the author may be asked to review the manuscript before it proceeds to formatting.
Throughout this adaptation process, we offer personalized coaching and guidance, empowering authors to refine their work and establish meaningful connections with readers worldwide.

Payment Methods
Clients are required to deposit payments directly into the bank account specified in the quote provided alongside the contract.
Cancellations
We strive to ensure a smooth and collaborative process for our clients. However, once a booking deposit (10%) and formal service request are confirmed, and the first payment (45% of the total fee) is made, this payment is non-refundable. Should a cancellation occur after this stage, a cancellation fee may be applicable, depending on the progress of work.
